Number Four. If you are trying to learn, hands on, how organic search works, you’ve got to get out of your free or low-cost blogging provider’s domain and into your own, using WordPress (go ahead, insert your fave here).
Number Three. When you publish an e-book, the metaphorical phone starts ringing off the hook and suddenly you are swamped with real work to do, reducing the amount of time available for hacking CSS, PHP, and learning DreamWeaver CS3.
Number Two. The universe of plug-ins, widgets, and other “ajar source” (term I coined for components freely or cheaply available to enrich your presence on the web) will undoubtedly fix the really ugly bits faster than I could by learning six new languages.
Number One. Every generation needs a Tiny Tim.
